Web Design — Case Study
The Southeast's most trusted water and wetland experts now have a website that matches the reputation — fast, modern, and built to convert.
The new website only works because the company behind it earned its reputation the hard way — restoring lakes, rivers, and wetlands across the Southeast for decades, on projects ranging from single ponds to major federal river systems.
Imperium builds for companies we'd recommend to our own family. Aqua Plant Control is one of them.
THE BACKSTORY
Aqua Plant Control has restored lakes, rivers, and wetlands across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina for decades — everything from single-pond properties to major federal river restorations. The reputation was rock solid. The website was not.
The old site looked like it had not been touched since the early 2000s — a stock fish background, tiny text, and a layout that did nothing for a company of this caliber. They needed a digital home that finally matched the quality of the work: modern, fast, mobile-ready, and trustworthy enough to send paid traffic to.
ABOVE & BEYOND
A new website is only useful if it lives at the right address — and recovering Aqua Plant Control’s original domain turned into a two-week saga. One provider insisted the domain was managed somewhere else; that somewhere else turned out to be a shell reseller fronting yet another company. We handled every call, every transfer, and every dead end ourselves, and we did not add a dollar to the invoice for any of it. The site launched on their domain, on budget, with none of the headache landing on them.
THE BUILD
A hand-built WordPress site engineered for speed and search — a real build, not a dressed-up template.
Tuned to a GTmetrix Grade A: 99% performance, sub-second load, zero blocking time, and zero layout shift.
Looks sharp and converts on every screen, from phone to desktop.
Proper structure and schema built to rank across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina service areas.
Real photography of their own crews and waterways — the brand finally looks the part.
We untangled a two-week domain-transfer mess and pointed everything to the new site — at no extra cost.
We build for businesses ready to be taken as seriously online as they are in the field. On time, on budget, above and beyond.
